A designer has created a place for
the homeless to live out of sight.
Mobile Homeless Homes has designed a living environment for those who have no other home. It’s a series of three square plastic garbage cans with false tops, attached securely together. The containers cleverly conceal a hidden door and an enclosed space for someone to live undetected inside the trash cans.
They’re made out of durable plastic, so the home is weather-resistant. Vents allow the air to freely circulate.
The entire assembly is mounted on wheels. If a homeless person is told to move, he or she can pull the home to another location.
The company has plans to create a dumpster-size house that can house an entire family.
