A man in Kentucky approached the counter in Walmart with a vacuum cleaner, a microwave oven and other things in his shopping cart. The cashier rang everything up, and the total came to $476. The man gave the cashier his million dollar bill, and waited for change.
He probably did not have to wait long for a response.
Although there is no such thing as a million dollar bill, since the largest U. S. currency in circulation is $100, the man insisted that the money was genuine.
Police were called, and he was arrested and charged with trying to "obtain property by false pretense" and "uttering a forged instrument."
When we consider the circumstances, it is more likely that the "counterfeiter", Michael Anthony Fuller, is having some mental health issues.
Mr. Fuller did not receive
his $999,524 in change.
