Herbert Eckman and his wife had traveled from Apollo, Pennsylvania to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina every winter for the last ten years.
While they were away, the security system for their home was a blow-up-doll, which could be seen through a window sitting on their couch, imitating a real living person.
Unfortunately, one burglar was not fooled, and broke in and stole some family heirlooms.
The Eckmans have since installed a burglar alarm.
