Smartphone users snagged by phishing scams

Smartphone users snagged by phishing scamsCan phishing on a smart phone catch you more than phishing on a PC?
Smartphones users are three times more vulnerable to phishing scams than those who get email and web pages via a PC, according to a report by a security firm.

Phishing is when emails are from a fraudulent sender, and the sender fools a user into entering personal information.

Because of the small screen size of the phones, the entire address is not visible, just the supposed name of the sender, which might make the user more trusting of the email.

Could the scam work more often because a phone user might be preoccupied with doing something else when they answer, and don’t put their full critical attention on the email?
