A hardcore punk Charlie Brown Christmas

I know just what we need, Charlie Brown!

Will this clip deceive future TV watchers?

It's the dancing scene from the classic TV cartoon A Charlie Brown Christmas, perfectly edited to a song from the hardcore punk band Bad Brains.

The band was unique: an all-black punk band that started out playing jazz. I wonder if Vince Guaraldi, who wrote the original music for the scene, would have approved.

The lyrics fit, too:
And so it's now we choose to fight
To stick up for our bloody right
The right to sing, the right to dance
The right is ours... We'll take the chance
Well, some of them did.
I came to know with now dismay
That in this world we all must pay
Pay to write, pay to play
Pay to cum, pay to fight
