Hasan Aydemir did not approve of his sister's wedding.
The London man sent a package to the wedding in Turkey, telling the staff at the UPS office that it contained a teddy bear and a watch.
He was so concerned about the gift that he attached a note saying “Leave the package on the table of the bride and groom.”
However, the gift was actually a fake bomb, constructed from a clock, inert putty and wires.
It was discovered by customs officials, and understandably disrupted life at the airport.
Mr. Aydemir was sentenced to four years in jail.
