7 optical illusion landscapes by Daniel Kukla

His art is more than photo-realistic.

These photos are from two series taken by photographer Daniel Kukla. In The Edge Effect, he hiked into the wild with a painter's easel and a mirror. In Captive Landscapes, he took photos of animal enclosures in zoos.

Daniel Kukla has been trained in photography, biology and anthropology.

It's almost real, until you notice
the angle in the forest.

The rock seems more real than the real rock.

ignoring the painted tree.
