The bait? An offer to be in a porn movie

They wanted to find him.

What if the bikers who love animals use Playboy centerfolds to ask a porn star to help find the male model who tortures animals?

A man posted videos on the internet where he was torturing kittens.

His video, where he puts kittens in a plastic bag and then vacuums out the air to kill them, caught the attention of a New York group called Rescue Ink, which is made up of tattooed motorcycle riders with a passion to fight animal cruelty.

They also have a reality show on the National Geographic Channel.

To try and catch the kitten abuser, they contacted pornographic film star Ron Jeremy, who had done an advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Since the kitten abuser wanted to be a porn star, the group thought they could use Mr. Jeremy to lure the man to a Los Angeles porn movie set. They tried to convince Mr. Jeremy with the help of the identical twin Playboy centerfolds and animal rights activists known as the Barbi Twins.

Mr. Jeremy might have helped out, but said he was "spooked" when twin Sia Barbi said that the suspect "could eventually harm humans." The sting never occured.

A year later, the abuser, Luka Rocco Magnotta, pictured above, was caught.

Mr. Magnotta had killed his boyfriend, a man named Lin Jun. He had also dismembered the body, mailed the hands and feet throughout the country, filmed and posted the murder, and possibly snacked on the remains.
