It's difficult to actually "see" Robert
Lazzarini's sculptures in a photograph.
Mr. Lazzarini makes his sculptures out of
the material that the real object is made out of.
For instance, his skulls are made out of cast bone.
His guns are made out of
carbon steel and wood.
His payphone sculpture stands in a gallery.
His sculptures are distorted
versions of real objects.
Even when one of his skull sculptures is mounted,
it's hard to recognize that it's a real object.
