Hungarian artist Istvan Orosz "likes to use visual paradox and illusionistic approaches while following traditional printing techniques such as woodcutting and etching."

Besides the ambiguous windows shown above, he created a series of illustrations called Ship of Fools.

The original Ship of Fools (Das Narrenschiff), written in 1494, was a medieval German book satirizing foolishness, and was illustrated with woodcuts by Albrecht Durer.

Mr. Orosz expands on Durer’s work by creating his illustrations with hidden optical illusions of "momento mori".

See if you can find them.

"My rope pulls many fools about,
Ape, cuckold, ass, and silly lout,
Whom I seduce, deceive, and flout."
