She tried using poison disguised as breast milk.
Kisha Jones, age 40, was married and pregnant.
She discovered her husband had a mistress, Monique Hunter, age 26. Ms. Hunter was also pregnant by Mrs. Jones' husband.
(Later Mrs. Jones will say she snapped from her raging hormones.)
She obtained the abortion drug misoprostol. She pretended to be from the other woman's obstetrician and deceived the mistress into picking up and taking the drug. It induced an abortion.
The baby was born two months premature but survived.
Mrs. Jones then tried to trick hospital workers into removing the baby from a respirator, but failed.
Finally, Mrs. Jones tried to kill the baby by pretending to be the baby's mother and sending over two bottles of poison, saying it was breast milk. The hospital called police.
Mrs. Jones was sentenced to four years in prison.
