Abbott and Costello’s switching gag

Abbott and Costello's switching gag
"Abbott, I believe that girl over there is much prettier…"

The comedians Abbott and Costello never dropped a good comedy gag when it worked.

The gag? Get rid of some unwanted object by slipping it unnoticed to a companion – in these movies it was either a drugged drink (a "mickey") or a piece of cursed jewelry. They do this routine in three movies, thirteen years apart: Pardon My Sarong (1942), The Naughty Nineties (1945) and Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy (1955.)
